Text and Texture 2014

In 2014 Anthony was commissioned by The Shakespeare's Birthplace museum to create a projection based on the museum's collection. Shown over the December period for two weeks before Christmas, Text and Texture featured the words, textiles, images from the museum set to Elizabethan music, and including spoken words from Shakespeare's plays.

Anthony analysed all of Shakespeare's plays to find where common words appeared. He created four themes to create 4 projections played every half an hour, that quoted lines that featured each theme word. Additionally, the visuals of relevant images and fabric scans from the collection featured in the projection.
